You know how much I adore creating personal ceremonies and coming up with ways to make each ceremony really reflect that couple and their personalities. Well Randi & Paker were no exception and their's was a fun and heartwarming ceremony from beginning to end.

Randi and Parker told me they had enough common interests so they could have a good time doing just about anything, but enough differences to keep things interesting. They are clearly a great team and clearly enjoy laughing together as well as sharing the ups and downs that everyday life offers.
They wanted a unique and interesting unity ritual that also reflected their classy and fun personalities so we decided on a "Uni-tini" martini share. As Parker & Randi combined the ingredients that go into a good martini in the cocktail shaker, I talked about the elements that go into a good marriage and how the blending together of these separate ingredients, much like the blending together of their two distinct personalities would only enhance and make much better the individual ingredients, creating a wonderful and distinct cocktail, (or marriage).
And just as the individual elements that go into a martini could never be put back into their separate glasses, so are the lives of Randi and Parker now entwined.
I discovered that the mixing of a good martini is really important and also the fun part!!
Bringing their separate strengths and talents to the marriage, they have created a colorful blending of the best of both of them, much like the martini we mixed.
They shared vows promising to respect, honor and be faithful to each other, and to also love one another as they are, not as they might want the other to be.
In the words of George and Mary Bailey from It's a Wonderful Life I wished them bread so that their house would never know hunger; salt so that their lives would always have flavor and wine (or martinis) so that joy and prosperity would reign forever.
Their wedding was wonderfully colorful, with a bridal party that included family and close friends. The beautiful Grand Island Mansion was the setting, and Christopher Kight Kight Photography was on hand to work his magic behind the camera.
Randi and Parker - a toast to you by an author I treasure dearly, William Shakespeare:
"My heart is ever at your service."
All the very best to you and may you always share a love of martini making and drinking as well as the making and drinking in of all life's amazing experiences.
"My wedding turned out wonderful! The ceremony done by Cindie was one of the main reasons! She took our story and thoughts by having us answer personal questions and turned it into a beautiful ceremony. She also helped us create a unique unity ceremony by taking an idea we had and expanding it beautifully! We wanted a romantic and lighthearted ceremony and that is exactly what we got. One major comment we got about our wedding was how beautiful, personal and special our ceremony was. Many people said it was the best ceremony that had ever witnessed! On another note it was also a wonderful value for what she did for us. Thank you again Cindie for a wonderful day!"
